A Gothic Story Built Around Dante’s Curse
Play’n GO has introduced Cursed Moon Power Collection, a gothic horror slot that centers on coin gathering, a rising multiplier, and a layered progression system.
At the heart of the game is Dante, a vampire hunter who becomes the very monster he once pursued. Rather than surrender to that fate, he turns against the vampire code and sets out to defeat Dracula while fighting to recover his humanity.
The atmosphere leans heavily into classic horror, with eerie woods, towering castle outlines, and a crimson cursed moon setting the tone. Symbols such as wolves, zombies, Mr. Hyde, and vampires fill the reels to reinforce the dark theme.
Core Mechanics Drive the Action
The slot uses a five-reel, four-row layout, and wins are created by matching adjacent symbols from left to right. That structure gives the game a familiar framework while leaving room for its larger feature set to stand out.
Coin collection plays a central role in the design. Coins land on the middle reels, while Slay Collector symbols appear on the outer reels; when they land together, the collectors gather Coins and Instant Win symbols.
The Soul Fire multiplier adds another layer of tension in the base game. Once its symbol reaches the fifth reel, it boosts the value of collected Coins and Instant Win symbols, though it does not change standard payline results.
Progression Rewards Players Who Keep Advancing
A five-stage progression track gives the slot its sense of momentum. Level Up symbols move the meter forward in both the base game and Free Spins, but the biggest changes arrive once Free Spins unlock new stages.
As players climb higher, collection events can double and stacked Money symbols can appear on the center reels. At the top level, every spin guarantees an Instant Win symbol, raising the pace and payoff potential.
Progress is not always lost if the bonus round ends early. During Free Spins, Level Lock symbols can freeze advancement and let players return later from the same unlocked stage.
Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, said the design was meant to mirror Dante’s transformation and relentless chase. He described how the collection feature, multiplier growth, and level system all reinforce the same escalating journey, giving the title a darker identity from start to finish.
Cursed Moon Power Collection is now live across Play’n GO’s network of operators.
